The working public is invited to a breakfast Thursday, October 15 from 6:45-7:45 at New Hope Community Church to hear Andy Crouch, the Executive Editor of “Christianity Today” speak on “Bearing and Restoring the Image: A Bigger, Better Vision of Faith and Work.” Have you ever wondered if your work matters? We will spend over 100,000 hours of our life working. Is work a curse or a blessing? What does God say about our work and how does it bring Him glory and good to others? Come get a kingdom view of what you do for 40+ hours a week.
Andy is the author of two books, “Playing God: Redeeming the Gift of Power” and “Culture Making: Recovering Our Creative Calling.” Beyond his position at Christianity Today he is on the board at Fuller Theological Seminary, International Justice Mission and has appeared in Time, The Wall Street Journal and several other periodicals. Space for this event is limited to 100 people and the cost is $5 for breakfast and presentation. The Chamber Employee Recognition Luncheon and Program will be held

11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m
A buffet luncheon will be served so that employees may attend in shifts.
All chamber members are invited to nominate an employee who will be recognized at the program and have a chance to be selected Employee of the Year.
All employees of chamber members are invited to attend. Send as many employees as you wish, with no requirement to nominate for Employee of the Year.
